Welcome to the Department of Forestry at FUTESI. The department is committed to training professionals who will lead in the sustainable management, conservation, and utilisation of forest resources. With a curriculum grounded in ecological principles, forest economics, and environmental stewardship, our students are equipped to address deforestation, climate change, biodiversity loss, and rural livelihood issues. Through field-based learning, research, and partnerships with forestry agencies and conservation organisations, we prepare graduates to serve as stewards of the natural environment.
